Jammu and Kashmir is the northernmost state of India. There are 3 regional areas – Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The controversy over this state is about Kashmir. That is why there is a panic between India and Pakistan. The Kashmir dispute is an international dispute, which we know by the name of Kashmir Conflict.

During partition, King Harisingh of Jammu and Kashmir wanted to keep their state independent. On the contrary, Pakistan invaded their state. In such a situation, he had to get military help from India and sign the merger letter with India.

Jammu and Kashmir became an integral part of India on the basis of this agreement in October 1947. Pakistan constantly claims on Jammu and Kashmir. He has also occupied a large portion of Kashmir. This issue has become very complicated by the Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru’s move to the United Nations.

Today, terrorist incidents from across the border are increasing in Kashmir. The separatist themselves are also active.
