The Younger lot has e-books. They read everything from e books. Why e-books?
Because you can carry an entire library with you in 1 cm width. They can be carried anywhere without taking much space, making it great for travelers. People with dyslexia benefit from e books as they can change the font size and spacing between lines making it easier to read. E-books are portable and easy to update. And e books do not use trees and hence reduce pollution from pulp mills.

Any kind of information can be quickly found on the internet, making information accessible in a lot easier way. All you have to do is download the book you want and the information is ready for you to read, anytime, anywhere.

Yes, there are a lot of people who still love printed books. The smell from the paper of new books,  the sense you get when you turn pages and see pages shrinking on the right and piling on the left is different from any feeling you get while scrolling down your screen.
Only avid readers and those who have a fondness for books, buy books. Others use e books. People don’t gift books, they gift e books instead.

In a few years, yes, books are going to be replaced by e-books. They would be found only in libraries, not in houses, or on tables.
