1. – Look at the table below and describe it in 40 seconds.

The table shows the cinema viewing figures and compares the four countries in terms of four different genres of the film which are Action, Romance, Comedy and Horror. It is clear from the table that Indian people prefer to watch films at the cinema than other three nations. Action movies are most popular in all four countries. Out of 85 million, nearly around 30 million people watch them. Not many people like watching horror films at the cinema compared to the other genres of film. It is clear from the evidence that Indians and Japanese people don’t like horror films but they are more popular in New Zealand and Ireland. The total number of viewers for romantic and comedy films are more in India.

2. – Look at the table below and describe it in 40 seconds.

This table shows the percentage of women in tertiary education from 1998 to 2005 in selected countries. In general, the trend for increasing percentage of women in tertiary education but there is only Bulgaria where the reverse trend was seen. In 1998, 60.9% of the tertiary student population was made up of women whereas percentage had fallen to 52.1 in 2005, the largest percentage change of 14.4% drop. It is clear from the table that Iceland was the highest percentage of women in tertiary education and was also the country with the largest increase, rising from 60% to 64.9% from 1998 to 2005. There was a minor change in the percentage of all other countries like Denmark, Finland, Japan, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States.
