Children are like clay in a potter’s hands. The desired shape is given by the potter and so do children become what their parents make them. Early growing years in a child’s life are the most crucial and lay the foundation for developing their nature, personality and the individual self. In today’s era both parents are working, so children rely heavily on their teachers for help, advice, and guidance. Role of teacher is very crucial from the day when child joins care center to the forward stage towards establishing a professional career. Education is one of the greatest services provided by teachers. Teachers role becomes an important component and in fact, it can be said that they are in way our nation builders.
Teaching job is a great responsibility than a mere job. The teacher has the potential to become a friend, philosopher and guide the students. The teacher acts as a role model in students life who easily influence the minds of the students. A good teacher is always remembered for the lessons that she had taught in the later life of a student. That lessons helped him/her to sail through life very easily. So a teacher has a much more role than just teaching or covering syllabus.
Teacher helps in understanding the basic needs of interest, learning about students interest, planning & organizing classroom activities, assessing the students and motivate them to do better. This all become very challenging for teachers because they need students to feel comfortable to seek any help without hesitation.

In conclusion, I believe that teachers have a much bigger role than just covering the syllabus.
